Hello people, I'm Peter!
Also present on socials as @pietmaen. I’ve been sketching since I could hold a pencil, and creativity has always been my playground - from singing and acting to doodling characters everywhere.
I studied math and art (yep, both!) and later earned a degree in Visual Communication in Berlin, where I learned how to mix structure with imagination.
My art is playful, observant, and all about people. I love capturing expressions, gestures, and tiny quirks - the little things that make characters feel alive and full of emotion. If you see one of my portraits, I hope it makes you smile and imagine the story behind the face.
I really hope you'll take advantage of this free opportunity to dive deep into some of the useful tips to elevate your character expression techniques. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message on Instagram at @pietmaen
See you there! :)
Peter
